This slogan of the Luxembourg national marketing also characterised the second international training exchange in our ERASMUS + project “Identities – Much More than Cards” from March 19-23, 2018: after 14 months of intensive study of methods and materials on intercultural work and integration of refugees, more than twenty full-time and voluntary teachers and mentors gathered in Luxembourg City to test the developed training program. Whether lectures, group exercises, cultural interactions or a card game – our international project group turned out to be an ideal test field to check the comprehensibility and usefulness of the individual elements. These are aimed at refugees and migrants (as well as other interested persons) and are organized in 6 modules: language, intercultural communication, European Union, workforce, entrepreneurship, and social engagement. A special emphasis is put on the promotion of entrepreneurship.
Until July 2018, interested persons have the opportunity to participate in the local pilot phase of the “Identitities” learning program in Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Portugal, Turkey (and Germany), before the modules will be finally published – through individual courses offered by the partners, and a common e-learning platform in 6 languages.
For the best possible practical relevance, aiforia organises the contents of business start-up and green business within the framework of the EST- project “Regional Potato instead of Couch Potato” and cooperates with a professional farmer, a cook, a seed expert and an intercultural association.
