Where we are

aiforia is located in Freiburg, in South-west Germany, at the edge of the Black Forest, close to the French and Swiss borders. Freiburg is considered one of the most ecologically-aware cities world-wide: among its awards, the final round of the Green European Capital 2009 and the numerous awards in the “Solar Bundesliga” (the German city with the highest amount of solar energy produced). In Freiburg, you can visit energyplus and -passive buildings, experience pedestrian-friendly and car-free districts, and find out more about other innovative eco-solutions.  

Our office can be found in a ”Gründerzeit” style building about 300 meters from the train station, on the way to the beautiful medieval town centre.
To reach us...by train! Freiburg is just 4 hours from Paris, 5 hours from Milan, 6 hours from Brussels...and one night from Rome, Barcelona, Vienna.
If you need to fly, the closest airports are Basel (1 hour by bus) and Frankfurt (2 hours by train).
